I definitely recommend this trip to everyone who loves to travel and experience the beauty of Sri Lanka. The meals were great, the transportation were superb and the tour guide was the best ever. "Everything about the tour was well organized from the accommodation, the transportation and the tour guide. However, I woud have prefered if the guide took us to places with authentic food considering it's called Spices of Ceylon and there was not enough option given apart from hotel food." Spicy Sri Lanka "The tour to Sri Lanka was incredible because of our amazing tour guide which gave us lots of information about the culture of Sri Lanka.I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to have the same fantastic experience as we did." Best of Sri Lanka All in all it was trip of a lifetime with great location, stunning views, fun activities and an amazing guide. Our tour guide (Indika) was also awesome and took good care of us until the end of the tour. The itinerary includes places that were stunning and we got to see Sri Lanka at its finest and it also gave us flexibility to decide what we wanted to join at certain parts of the tour. There was a great combination of sights and activities like walking, cycling, dancing, cooking, riding public and private trasnport and visiting coconut plantation. "Everything about this trip was perfect. When he reached impenetrable jungles, the king ordered to build a new town. After that, King Vikramabahu took all historical and religious artifacts he had and headed deeper into the island. Local people were not skilled warriors and their weapons were more primitive than the equipment of Europeans, so they had no chance resisting the invaders. Having reached the southern side of Ceylon, the Portuguese started colonizing the island. This city appeared soon after the arrival of the Portuguese explorers in the 14th century. Despite this fact, the city doesn’t lose its glorious look and attracts many tourists every year. The city’s population tries to maintain the centuries-old traditions and is very sad about the impact of the modern culture on the image of “an honest Kandy resident” that slowly disappears. Kandy is truly a cultural capital of the island, and its local people still cherish their historic heritage and Buddhist values. As observed on the physical map above, most of Sri Lanka is low-lying and is ringed by (almost endless) sandy beaches, and small, irregular lagoons. This city is an ideal destination for an unforgettable vacation thanks to its always pleasant and fresh air. Sri Lanka is an island country located to the south of the Indian Peninsula in the Indian Ocean and has an area of 65,610 sq. The settlement is situated close to the bank of the Mahaweli Ganga River.

In the heart of Sri Lanka, not far from Colombo, tourists will find the marvelous city of Kandy.
